Who Are We?

HCS-TV12 is the educational access channel operated by the Media Services  Department of Horry County Schools (HCS). Our mission is to educate and inform our audiences about the students, programs, and services of HCS and to provide enhanced learning opportunities for our schools and community.

HCS-TV12 moved to a new facility last Spring, located at the Academy for Technology and Academics, to fully meet the rapidly expanding communication needs of Horry County's school system. Our new technological capabilities and services include field, studio, and live video production; videoconferencing; satellite downlinks; and closed circuit television.
