Assessment

ALL Students will be assessed on their choice novel during the second week of school, September 2-5.  This assessment is teacher-selected and will count as a REQUIRED grade on the first nine-weeks grading period.  Students also have the opportunity to earn EXTRA CREDIT on the first nine-weeks grading period if they complete a novel overview form on their reading and submit it to their teacher no later than August 29.  You can access the forms here.  They will also be available to students from their teachers on the first day of school. 

Honors and AP students will discuss the required novels during the first week of school.  They will be assessed on the novel during the second week.  These assessments will count as grades for the first nine-weeks grading period.
