Daisy Elementary, the county's only year-round school, started the new year on July 19, 2010.

Registration is Monday, August 2
All schools (except Daisy) will hold registration for the upcoming school year on Monday, August 2. Click here for registration times for each individual school and for more information.

Staff work schedule
Teachers’ 190-day contract year begins on Friday, August 13. Three additional staff development days for teachers are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, August 10, 11 and 12.
HCS announces administrative changes
Vann Pennell has been named the principal of St. James High School; April Scott is the new principal at Forestbrook Middle School; and Robin Jones has been named interim principal for the Academy for Arts, Science, and Technology. Read more.
