TEACHING VACANCIES APPLICATION PROCESS

To be considered for teaching positions, applicants must submit a Complete Application to Human Resources.


Complete applications include the following:

1. Horry County Schools Online Application
2. Teaching Certificate
3. At least 3 Professional References (forms available online)
4. Applicant Disclosure and Consent form - Allows Horry County Schools to do a criminal background investigation
5. College transcript(s) - showing degree conferred date
6. New Graduates and PACE candidates only - must submit Praxis test scores and a Letter from the college verifying their degree.  Also, PACE, submit a Letter of Eligibility issued by the South Carolina Department of Education.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you submit the online application and sucessfully attach the above required documents (#2-6), you do not need to send any paper documents.  If you cannot attach the documents, please mail, email or fax them to
