Career Technology

It is the basic Education Philosophy of Horry County Schools to prepare our students to become productive, contributing citizens of our community and society.  A comprehensive program of student training within career majors is vital to the educational development of our students.  The Career and Technology Education programs of Horry County are an extension of this philosophy.  The primary objective of our program is for our students to receive quality training within various career major areas that can contribute to successful career development and employment for the future.  Students within these programs are afforded the opportunity for hands on experience within the classroom that can carry over into the workplace.
