The
Horry County Board of Education recognized 14 students for having
perfect attendance at its December 3 meeting. The students were
honored for not having missed a single day of school in grades 1-5,
1-8, or 1-11. The students attended school for 900, 1,440 or 1,980
days, respectively, without an absence.
Honorees
for grades 1-5 received a certificate and a medallion; grades 1-8
received a certificate and a $50 savings bond; and grades 1-11 received
a plaque and a $100 savings bond.
The 2007 perfect attendance honorees are:
Alesia Geneva Martin, Conway Middle School; LaTasha Daneen Bostick, Forestbrook Middle School; Marcella Denise Chestnut, Tristian Stephens Dew, and Ashley Faye Vereen, North Myrtle Beach Middle School; and Savannah Lee Hardy, Caleb Wayne Rogers, and Caitlyn D’Anna Leggens, Ocean Bay Middle School.
