Welcome to PowerSchool!

Parents and guardians of Horry County Schools’ students have a new tool to give them day-to-day details about grades and attendance. PowerSchool, our new student information system, provides a Parent Portal to give you access to your child’s grades and attendance through a secure Internet login. PowerSchool lets you see all grades for your child in real-time as soon as grades are posted in the teacher’s gradebook. You may also request to receive automatic emails each time student records are updated. You will also be able to email teachers though the Parent Portal.

The Parent Portal will be accessible beginning September 30. After this date, you can visit your child’s school and obtain an assigned username and password from the Data Quality Clerk. Requests must be made in person and photo identification must be shown to attain usernames and passwords.

This is the first year we have used this new system and we appreciate your patience as we work to bring you more opportunities to be involved in your child’s education.
