How do I document all the information sources I used?

It is important to document, or give credit by citing all the resources that you used in preparing your research project.  Citing provides the source for any data, information, or ideas that you use. In addition to providing credit for others work, citing adds support for your research.

There are numerous citation styles in use, and sometimes teachers will provide specific instructions for how their students should cite sources. A favorite citation style source is Online Citation Styles. Additional  web addresses include http://www.bibme.org and http://citationmachine.net
