2021-22 Student Meal Information
The USDA Summer Food Service Program extended its waiver to allow ALL STUDENTS to receive FREE breakfast and lunch throughout the entire 2021-22 school year, regardless of family income-levels or proof of enrollment. In addition to providing free student meals during face-to-face instruction, Grab-and-Go style meals will be available for all students participating in the K-12 HCS Virtual Program.

- Though meals will be available at no cost, we strongly encourage families to submit a meal application. If approved, students may be eligible for additional benefits, such as P-EBT or fee waivers. Click here for the meal application.
For HCS Virtual K-12 Program Students
Parents must call their school’s cafeteria each Friday before 10 a.m. to request meals for the following week. Meal pickups will be on Mondays. The time and location of meal pickups will be determined when your order is placed on Fridays. Each order will include a week’s worth of meals (five breakfasts and five lunches). * HCS Nutrition Services is working closely with our food distributors and manufacturers to secure food and supply items needed to support our program. However, the availability of these items has been changing daily due to unprecedented issues with the supply chain. While we intend to serve the posted menu items every day at every school, the supply issues may cause us to alter our menus with little to no notice. If changes become necessary, we will attempt to substitute the scheduled menu item with another similar item if possible.
The Nutrition Services program in Horry County Schools feeds over 25,000 customers daily. We understand the important role that good nutrition plays in the education and well being of our children. We take pride in providing our students with delicious, wholesome meals every day! Many schools offer after school enrichment opportunities that also provide healthy snacks to all students in attendance. Please check with your child's school for availability.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) or in Spanish. The form can also be found online at http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
