HCS New Teacher Academy
New Teacher Academy is a four-day event. Sessions will be hosted by district specialists on July 26-27 from 8:00 am-3:30 pm. School-based sessions will be held on August 3-4. Academy sessions will focus on research-based practices, including effective instructional strategies and classroom management.

HCS Stakeholder Survey for ESSER III Funding
Horry County Schools (HCS) requests input on the spending of the American Rescue Plan’s Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER III) allocation. HCS received over $125.2 million to spend over the next three years to utilize in response to COVID19-related concerns.
