  • FIELD DAYS - MAY 30TH & 31ST

Field Days are May 30th for Kindergarten through 2nd grade and May 31st for grades 3 through 5. If you would like to be a volunteer you must have a Volunteer Card. To get a Volunteer Card you can go onto: horrycountyschools.net/Forestbrook_Elementary and under the Parent Tab you will see “volunteer application”. Complete the forms and submit. This process can take up to 4 weeks to complete. Parents who would like to come and join their child’s class on field day will be able to check in with a volunteer card or if you do not have one, you will have to come into the office and have your license scanned for an ID badge.

Medication must be delivered to the school by a parent. The medication must be in its original container and packaging. Before any school personnel can administer any medication, parents must completely fill out the required school form. Medicine prescribed to children for 3 times a day should be given at home. Medication forms are available in the school office. If you have any questions, please call the school nurse at 843-903-7485. Any medication not claimed by the last day of school will be disposed of by the nurse. Thank You!

  • High 5's and Handshakes

When your child arrives at school on March 29th, they will see officers with their police vehicles and flashing lights on campus. Those officers will greet children as they got off the bus or out of the car and offer then an encouraging handshake or high five to start their day. This event is as much fun for the officers as it is for our children and our hope is that through continuing events such as these, we will further strengthen the relationships that make the community of Forestbrook so strong. We also hope this will enable our children to see law enforcement officers and other first responders as the community helpers and positive role models they are.
