I am proud to be the very first principal to such an amazing group of students and parents.  At Socastee Middle School, we have high standards and expectations for each student in regard to academic performance, co-curricular participation, and responsible citizenship.  

Our teachers and staff are committed to providing opportunities for student success, both inside and outside of the classroom. Our staff recognizes the role they play in helping your children reach their full potential. Working together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.

Our first years in our new state-of-the-art building have been amazing. We have already established a strong culture and community of learners. Everything that we do now, will help to establish our school’s values and traditions for years to come. We have experienced numerous early successes, and we look forward to many more as we grow our SMS community.
