• Lisa Melchione

     

    Principal: Prior to being named the principal at Socastee Middle School Lisa Melchione served as an assistant principal at Socastee Elementary for two years and was an assistant principal and instructional coach at Forestbrook Middle School for a total of four years. She was a math teacher at St. James Middle School for 10 years prior to entering administration. Mrs. Melchione is a graduate of Socastee High and loves serving in the community she grew up in.

     

     

     

     

     

    Robert Pisaniello

    Mr. Rob Pisaniello is excited to join the Socastee Middle School community as the new Assistant Principal. He comes to Socastee Middle School with 20 years of experience as a public school educator; nineteen years of high school and one year of middle school. Mr. Pisaniello has served in Horry County Schools for 12 years—for the last three years, he has worked as assistant principal with Carolina Forest’s administrative team. Prior to his transition into school administration, he worked for St. James High School as an English teacher. Throughout his years, Mr. Pisaniello has also worked closely with curriculum leaders and teams to develop meaningful programs for all students. He is thrilled to be a part of this new endeavor to build a school of excellence for the students of Socastee.
     

     

     

     

     

     

    Sharon Arruda

     Sharon Arruda grew up in Horry County and graduated from Socastee High School. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Education and also a degree in Accounting. In addition to that, she has a M. ED in Technology and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. She has taught middle school math for the last 20 years. Ms. Arruda shares, “I have a terrific family and great friends. I enjoy the outdoors and many weekends are spent out on a boat fishing. I have a daughter, Isley, who is currently in medical school at South Carolina and I am a proud mom. 

     

     

     

     

     

    Macasek

    Instructional Coach: Michele Macasek graduated from Coastal Carolina University, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in Middle Level Education and a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership. She began her teaching career at Georgetown Middle School and spent her last 5 years at Forestbrook Middle School teaching 8th grade science.
