    Jessica Hucks: jhucks001@horrycountyschools.net

This will be my eighth year teaching at Homewood elementary, but my first year teaching Child Development. I taught Kindergarten for five years and first grade for two years before Kindergarten. I love Kindergarten and all of the adventurous exploring and hands on learning. Child Development will be just as fun and adventurous. I have a Master’s degree in Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. My favorite subject to teach is reading especially small group reading. I enjoy experiencing children light up for reading.
