The annual HCS Technology Fair will be held this year on April 10, 2019 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. This community event is an opportunity for students and teachers to showcase their skills using technology to enhance and enrich education.
Third-grade students from Myrtle Beach Elementary who submitted a project idea last fall will design and create a project that incorporates the use of technology in a variety of categories, including 3-D printing, video production, website design, programming, robotics, and digital game design. Our Technology Club team will compete against other third-graders from elementary schools across the district; on the day of the Technology Fair a panel of judges will award prizes to the top projects in each category.
Technology Club meets once a week on Wednesdays in the Library Media Center from 2:30 to 3:30pm. Third grade students can use the time to work on their projects, collaborate with each other, and get guidance and advice from teacher sponsors.
Please plan to join us on February 28th at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The HCS Technology Fair is free and open to the public; family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend!
