    TMCF offers three types of unique scholarships that are merit, plus need-based designed to address the financial needs of students attending a TMCF member-school or other accredited college or university (if applicable). The awards process is highly competitive and is given to outstanding and qualified students who plan to earn a baccalaureate, graduate or law degree.   • Apple HBCU Scholars Scholarship: DUE 6-1-22

    The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) in partnership with Apple is proud to present the Apple HBCU Scholars Program to outstanding students attending a Historically Black College or University. Eligible students should currently be working towards a degree in an undergraduate, Masters, Law or Ph.D. program. Selected Scholars will receive a $15,000 merit-based scholarship and participate in a 12-week internship during the Summer of 2022. Each scholar will be assigned an Apple mentor throughout their experience, receive an opportunity to develop key skills, and help launch their careers through the hands-on experience gained at one of the most innovative tech companies in the world.   • SC State University Minority Access to Teacher Education-Bridge Program Scholarship: DUE 5-30-22

    The SC State University Minority Access to Teacher Education (MATTE) Bridge Program recruits and offers scholarships to high school students from rural school districts, particularly along the I-95 corridor, to attend SC State to pursue and complete baccalaureate degrees in teaching education. In addition to providing the necessary funding for undergraduate students to graduate debt free, the MATTE Bridge Program offers residential summer enrichment and provides opportunities for 11th and 12th graders to earn six transferrable college credits.
