  • Joye Law Firm Scholarships : DUE 5-1-23

    Our firm will offer six $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in South Carolina who plan to attend a four-year institution of higher learning in the fall. Selection of the recipients is based on the creative entry, school activities, positions of leadership, special honors and awards, community involvement, academic performance, and professional pursuits.

  • SCATA/NAFEPA Scholarship :DUE 2-20-23

    The purpose of the scholarship program is to financially support post-secondary education for qualifying high school seniors attending their first year of college. For SCATA, scholarships are awarded at 3rd Place ($500); 2nd Place ($1000); and 1st Place ($1500).  These are non-renewable. For NAFEPA, there are four scholarships, each worth $2,500, and they are non-renewable.  Two scholarships are for students pursuing degrees in education. The other two scholarships are awarded to applicants pursuing degrees in any field of study. The application deadline is February 20, 2023, not January 20, 2023, as stated on the application. Please submit all applications to the Office of Federal Programs- fwaldorf@horrycountyschools.net no later than 1:00 p.m. on February 20, 2023.

  • Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc Scholarship :DUE 3-17-23

    The chapter will award a $1000 scholarship. All applicants interested in the scholarship award must write a 100-150-word essay; must meet delineated criteria; and must complete and electronically submit the application packet, including all supporting documentation, by March 17, 2023. Letters of recommendation and transcripts must also be attached to the application and received by this deadline.

  • St. Andrew Catholic School Alumni Scholarship: DUE 3-27-23

    We are pleased to announce that Fr. Morgan and the Parish Council of St. Andrew Catholic Parish have approved two $1,000 St. Andrew Catholic School Alumni Scholarships for 2023 high school graduates. The deadline for application is March 27, 2023. The graduate must be an alumni of St. Andrew Catholic School, hold a 3.25 cumulative GPA, provide teacher and Pastor recommendations, and write an essay.     Each year, Tidelands Community Hospice Foundation awards four (4) $1,000 scholarships to four(4) recipients who are or will be pursuing a career in Nursing or Social Work.     The Order Sons & Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA), Myrtle Beach Chapter 2662, offers an annual $2500 college scholarship opportunity for Horry County High School Seniors. The Myrtle Beach OSDIA Lodge has been awarding an academic scholarship to a Horry County high school senior since 2012. We are honored to offer this scholarship which supports the mission and the vision of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America.  The $2,500 scholarship is open to high school seniors of Italian-American descent (at least one Italian or Italian-American parent or grandparent) who attend a nationally accredited high school in Horry County, South Carolina.  The scholarship will be awarded based on the student’s scholarship essay, academic achievement, and faculty recommendations.
