  • Hampton Wildlife Scholarship DUE 2-26-2021

    In a commitment to promote higher education in the natural resources area in South Carolina, the Board of Directors of the Hampton Fund in 1992 established the scholarship program. This scholarship consists of a $5,000* scholarship awarded annually to a S.C. resident student to attend an institution of higher learning in the state with a major area of study in wildlife, fisheries, forestry, biology, zoology, marine science, environmental science or related fields.

    The Ron Brown Scholarship honors the legacy of Ronald H. Brown through a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted African Americans.  RBSP competitively awards Ron Brown Scholars four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship – the four pillars of the late Ronald H.   • Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union/ HTC Scholarship DUE: 3-5-21

    Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union and HTC, Inc. have partnered to offer scholarship awards to two graduating high school seniors within Horry, Georgetown, Marion, Williamsburg, or the southern part of Florence County. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to two rising college freshmen attending either Coastal Carolina University or Francis Marion University for their four-year degree. The scholarships may be renewed for three consecutive years in the amount of $500 per year should the award recipients continue to meet qualifying criteria. The total scholarship amount each student may receive over a four-year period is $2,500.

    The Horatio Alger Association welcomes eligible high school seniors to apply for the Horatio Alger Scholarships, which range from $10,000 to $25,000.

    Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for these awards.
