    Principal, Vicki Underwood

    Mrs. Underwood is a native of Florence, SC. She is married to Al Underwood and has one son,
    Win, who is a junior at Francis Marion College. The Underwood's live in Little River.

    Mrs. Underwood has 39 years of experience encompassing PE, teaching grades 3-5, Counseling, Assistant Principal and Principal. She has a Bachelors in Health and Physical Education from Winthrop College; a Master’s in Education with Emphasis in Counseling from Frances Marion College and a Masters in Administration from Capella University.

    She enjoys working with students and encourages them to make good choices every day
    and be the best they can be. Mrs. Underwood attends St. John's Greek Orthodox Church in Myrtle Beach. She enjoys jet skiing, boating, 4-wheeling, reading, swimming, but most of all her shiatsu dog, Coco.


    Mrs. Amy Edwards

    Mrs. Edwards is a 1984 graduate of Green Sea Floyds High School.  She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1988 from Winthrop University and a Masters
    Degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina in 1992.  Mrs. Edwards has twenty two years of experience in Horry County Schools with thirteen years of experience as a classroom teacher and nine years as an administrator.

    Mrs. Edwards began her teaching career at Green Sea Floyds Elementary where she taught first, second and third grade from 1988 to 2001.  In July of 2001, she became assistant principal at Aynor Elementary where she worked for two years serving CD-6th grade.  From 2003-2006,
    Mrs. Edwards was principal of Loris Elementary serving CD-5th grade. From 2006-2010, she served as principal of Conway Child Development serving preschool and child development.

    Mrs. Edwards resides in Loris with her husband of 29 years, James Edwards, and two daughters, Hannah (23) and Holly (21), and one dog, Porsha.  Mrs. Edwards’ husband graduated from Tabor City High School and the University of South Carolina and currently owns his own appraisal and real estate business, Inland Associates, Inc.  Mrs. Edwards plays the piano, organ, and clarinet and enjoys reading, drawing, swimming, and watching movies.  Mrs. Edwards attends Dogwood Hill Baptist Church.
