Visual and Performing Arts Honors 2018-19
- FMS Music Programs are Over 300 Students Strong
- Chorus placed 1st and Earned Superior Rating, and Band placed 3rd and Earned Excellent Rating, at Festival Performances in Atlanta, Georgia
- Four Band Students and One Orchestra Student Were Awarded Artistically Gifted and Talented Scholarships for Summer Music Programs at Charleston Southern or Furman University.
- Eleven Students Made All-County Band, Three of Whom Made Region Band
- Eighth Grade Band Received a Rating of Excellent at State Concert Performance Assessment Event
