The Archery Team uses bows and arrows to shoot at a target. The target will be placed at either 10 feet or 15 feet away. During a tournament, students will get the opportunity to shoot at both 3 times. They will learn how to score themselves and how to be safe when shooting a bow and arrow. The Archery Team will have their regional competition in January at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center. There we are hoping to take the first ever Socastee Middle School Archery Team to states.

The archery team typically has 18-20 students on the team.
