Awards

The Science Club at FMS has been honored to win several awards during the 2017-18 school year.

• The Horry County Solid Waste Authority awarded us with the “Excellence in Environmental Efforts” award.  FMS won this by decreasing waste at our school and by recycling a large amount of waste throughout the school year.
• We were named an SC Green Steps School in recognition for preserving the school’s environment.  See more information here.
• Our Science Club was given the Palmetto Pride “Outstanding School Award” due to its voluntary commitment to preserve the beauty of South Carolina.
