Once a Chief, Always a Chief!  I began my teaching career in 2004 in the North Myrtle Beach High School CATE Department.  As a teacher, I acquired my National Board Certification in Career and Technical Education and a 2nd master's degree in Educational Leadership.  In 2013, I pursued a new role as an Assistant Principal at Myrtle Beach High School and served that community until coming back home in 2018 to serve my very own community as an Assistant Principal.

I thoroughly enjoy working with young people and helping them to achieve their personal best.  I truly am passionate about education and take great pride in what I do.  As W.E.B Du Bois once said, “Education must not simply teach work- it must teach Life.”
