• The 2021 PSAT test is coming soon!

The PSAT will be given at CFHS on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at no cost to some students. HCS will pay for students to take the PSAT under two circumstances:

    a. If you are in 10th grade (second year of high school).
    b. If you are in 11th grade and are scheduled in English 3 or 4 Honors, ENG AP Language or ENG AP Literature.

If you meet either of these requirements, please complete the google form.

However, this test is open to all other CFHS students who wish to take the test for a $18 fee. If you would like to take the PSAT and pay the fee, please complete the google form below.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL PSAT Tests must be administered in person so you will have to come to school to take the test, even if you are a virtual student. Practice booklets and questions can be found online at www.collegeboard.com.

Email Mrs. Praefke at lpraefke@horrycountyschools.net  with any questions. The deadline to sign up is Friday, 9/3/2021 at 3pm.

The PSAT (which stands for Preliminary SAT) will not count towards your college admissions applications. However, you can use the PSAT as practice for the SAT and ACT and one of the starting points on your college admissions journey. The PSAT is 2 hours and 45 minutes long and tests your skills in Read-ing, Writing, and Math.
