Pee Dee Elementary School's P.T.O. is proud to announce our new Spirit Rock!  The Spirit Rock is an opportunity to share exciting events with the school community by painting your own message.  Parents, students, and staff may "Rent the Rock" to recognize a student's birthday, show school spirit, wish a team good luck, thank a teacher, announce an event, etc...It is a great way to send positive messages and increase excitement!  All proceeds directly benefit the P.T.O. which will then be used to support the school, students, and staff throughout the year!  Click the link below, or go to the PARENTS tab of this webpage for more information from the P.T.O.

  • Car Rider Information from the Principal

Posted by Holly Thompson on 2/8/2021

Welcome back to all of our Busy Bees! It has been a wonderful first day back!  Since there are so many car riders now I would like to ask you to follow a couple of procedures.  With our nice new driveway, no one will get stuck out in the highway.  However, we need you to merge right as soon as you are able.  If cars pass other stopped and waiting cars, the car rider dismissal process will slow down considerably.  We have a good system going as long as cars are in the same order as we call our students in.

In the mornings when you drop your children off, please be patient, and again, do not pass other stopped and waiting cars.  We will work to keep the line moving as quickly as possible.  Do not enter the parking lot to drop off children.  With your help, we will be as safe and efficient as possible.

    Respectfully, Chris Plowman
