- Extended options are held every Monday and Wednesday at 3:30 in room 301. Please bring your device to work on assignments.
- Students, don’t forget tomorrow’s dress up for Christmas spirit week is ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas....wear your favorite Christmas pajamas to help bring in the Christmas season.
- School pictures for underclassmen will be taken on Jan. 11-14. Your teacher will receive a schedule closer to those dates with more information.
- Senior make up pictures will be held on Friday, January 15th. Seniors will sign up on the Jostens website to register for their time.
- Our program for cross country, tennis, and girl’s golf will be held tonight at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. Students are only allowed to bring 2 people to the event. Social distancing and face masks will be required.
- The football awards program will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. The same guidelines will be followed for this ceremony, as well.
- Baseball players will begin workouts on Tuesday December 8. Players in grades 9-12 who are not playing a winter sport should attend. Practice will be 3:45-5:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for this week and next week. All players must have a physical and have completed Planet High School information in order to participate.
- Any student interested in playing soccer, there will be an interest/parent meeting on Monday, December 14th at 4pm at the blue pride stadium area. Please contact Coach White for information.
- The Lady Lions traveled to NMB on Friday, Dec 4th to take on the Lady Chiefs. Final score was NMB 58 Loris 37. Great effort from our Lady Lions.
Next game will be held on Tuesday, Dec 8th vs GSF Lady Trojans at 6 pm at home. We look forward to our first home game and support from our fans.

The primary focus of this test is to assist seniors in attaining “Career Ready Status” prior to graduation. However, juniors planning to go into the military can sign up, as well. All A, B, and G day students can sign up to take this test. Anyone interested in taking the test should see Ms. Dameron in the guidance office to sign up.

- In honor of Veteran's Day on November 11, student council would like to encourage the LHS faculty, staff and students to wear red, white, and blue on Tuesday, November 10 and Wednesday, November 11.
- Wrestling practice will begin this afternoon at 3:45 in the mini gym. Please come prepared with a change of clothes and water bottle. You must have a physical on file with the athletic trainers, along with completion of Planet High School. See Coach Vereen, Mr. Brooks, or the athletic trainers for questions.

- There will be a mandatory practice for all members of the homecoming court this Thursday, October 29th at 3:30 p.m. on the football field. The practice will last about 15 minutes. Please be on time.

- This is an important announcement….all A-Day 10th grade students that signed up to take the PSAT are reminded that the PSAT will be given at Loris High School on Thursday, October 29th. If your circumstances have changed since you completed the sign-up form to test and you now need bus transportation on Thursday, the 29th, please have your teacher contact guidance. Please get your testing room assignments from your homeroom teacher on Tuesday morning and report to that room on Thursday upon arrival. The test will begin immediately following homeroom. Again, PSAT testing for A-Day 10th grade students is Thursday, October 29th.
