• School-Wide Behavioral System

The TLC utilizes a four-tiered system that incorporates behavioral and educational expectations. Students earn each level based on the behavior and actions they demonstrate by following the school-wide agreement. Points are documented electronically and target behaviors are noted.  This system aids staff in determining areas of growth for each student and allows for more specific goal-setting.

    Earning Points

Students will CHOOSE to earn or not earn points and levels.  By implementing the strategy of student choice, it removes the teacher, other school personnel and parents as the source of their success. Inappropriate behavior may result in a level drop. Students have the opportunity to earn a total of twenty (20) points per day.  The higher the level of the student, the greater autonomy of the student and the more privileges/rewards awarded.

    For example:

    • Level 1: (0-10 points)
