Midland Elementary is a Title 1 School
Title 1, Part A, of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is a federal program that provides opportunities for students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to meet challenging state and academic standards. Title 1 Resources are distributed to schools where needs are the greatest, to make a difference in the improvement of education. Our school continually monitors the implementation of the Title 1 plan and welcomes input from parents, school staff, and community members regarding its current and future Title 1 plans.
Title 1 Parent and Family Resource Center
Midland Parents, we are excited about the 2019-2020 school year. In case you didn't know, MES has a Family Resource Center as part of our Title 1 resources. We are located in Room 200, and our open from 7:30 am-2:30 pm Monday through Friday, and other times by appointment if needed. Please call the school at 843-358-3036 and ask for Heather Richards. We offer computer services for registration and other needs, reading material to help your child be successful in school, and we can also link you to many of our community resources such as adult ed.
Anytime we get information that we feel will benefit our Midland Community, we will share that with you.
