The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition, merit-based undergraduate scholarship awarded annually to 10-15 exceptional high school students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, leadership, and community service. The Cameron Impact Scholar is unique among their high-achieving peers in their desire to make an impact on their communities and in the world at large. Our Scholar aspires to contribute to positive forces for change and plans to tailor their education to that end. The Cameron Impact Scholarship covers the full tuition, fees, and books at any accredited U.S. based college or university that the recipient chooses to attend.
As a merit-based program, the Cameron Impact Scholarship is open to all applicants who meet the GPA and citizenship requirements, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, religion, sexual orientation, or any other background factors. We are looking for young leaders with demonstrated passion and commitment to any variety of positive impact.

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.
Scholars will receive funding for the full cost of attendance* that is not already covered by other financial aid and the expected family contribution, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or the methodology used by a Scholar’s college or university.
*Cost of attendance includes tuition, fees, room, board, books, and transportation, and may include other personal costs.

The mission of the Park Scholarships program is to bring exceptional students to NC State, based on outstanding accomplishments and potential in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. The program develops and supports Park Scholars in these areas, preparing them for lifelong contributions to the university, state, nation, and world.
The Park Scholarships are named for the late Roy H. Park ’31, an NC State alumnus who created the charitable Park Foundation, dedicated to education, media, and the environment. With a generous grant from the Park Foundation, the Park Scholarships program was established in 1996 to provide a superb educational opportunity for exceptionally talented and well-prepared young people who merit the intellectual challenge of a distinguished faculty and a superior university. To date, 22 classes of Park Scholars have graduated and have built a vibrant alumni network.
Approximately 40 scholarships will be awarded this year to outstanding entering freshmen for undergraduate study in any discipline at NC State.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 33rd class in 2021, the Foundation has provided over 6,450 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $75 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.

South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation Scholarship Program
Applicants must be a resident of South Carolina, plan to attend college in South Carolina, have a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale, have a competitive or recreational interest in golf.

South Carolina Teaching Fellows
Applicants should be interested in teaching as a career. It supplies up to a $6,000 fellowship annually for four years (as long as the student is in the process of completing a degree leading to teacher certification and meets the criteria to continue in the Program). It requires participants to agree to teach in a South Carolina public school one year for each year funding is received and sign a Promissory Note along with a surety.
To apply for Teaching Fellows, you must be:
- a United States citizen or permanent resident alien legally authorized to be in the United States (Please note - students categorized as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) are not eligible for Teaching Fellows.)
- a legal resident of South Carolina (Please note - Residency will be verified by the Teaching Fellows Institution after a student has been offered an award.)
- a high school senior or junior graduating early
The application opens October 1, 2021, and all materials must be submitted by December 1, 2021.
NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing
This award honors high school women who are active and interested in computing and technology and encourages them to pursue their passions. All women with award designations will have access to a national network of peers, scholarship opportunities, and support by professionals and volunteers, and various prizes. South Carolina participants will be invited to attend a scholarship reception in the Spring of 2022.

Who is the scholarship for?
- Students attending college in Fall, 2022
- Students who have DACA/TPS or are undocumented, meaning they do not have lawful status in the US
- Strong preference will be given to those who are interested in pursuing one of the following career paths: software engineering, nursing, data analytics, business analytics, and digital marketing

Santee Cooper Power Associates
Scholarship 1 Scholarship 2
There are two scholarship opportunities offered. The first scholarship is our two-year Power Associates Program. During the two-year program, students earn a technical associates degree and gain hands-on experience by working in a generating station. Santee Cooper pays for tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Students earn a competitive wage, receive a weekly stipend, and qualify for substantial incentive bonuses each semester based on academic performance. Graduates receive preferential consideration for full-time employment at Santee Cooper.
The second scholarship opportunity is our Electrical Line Worker’s Power Associate Program. During the sixteen-week course, students will earn an Electrical Line Worker’s Certificate and gain hands-on experience by working with one of our Line Crews. Santee Cooper pays for tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Students earn a competitive wage. Graduates receive preferential consideration for full-time employment at Santee Cooper.

Shirley Boone Scholarship
The Shirley W. Boone Scholarship is a one-time $5,000 scholarship awarded annually to a high school senior intending to attend a degree program in any subject at any college or university.
DEADLINE: The complete application packet must be received in Chapin Library by 5:00 pm on Friday, February 25, 2022. (If submitting electronically, please confirm the email is received by the deadline.) Late submission will not be accepted. Any applicant for the Shirley W. Boone Scholarship must be a senior in high school. In addition, the applicant must meet AT LEAST ONE of the following City of Myrtle Beach residency criteria:
A. The applicant must live within the city limits of Myrtle Beach;
B. The applicant must attend school within Myrtle Beach city limits;
C. The applicant must volunteer consistently at Chapin Memorial Library. All applicants must participate actively at a library or school media center. Participation includes--but is not limited to—volunteering, attending library functions,
borrowing materials, reading, etc.

Archibald Rutledge Scholarship Program
What is it? The Archibald Rutledge Scholarship program, named for South Carolina’s first poet laureate, offers twelfth-grade students (enrolled in a public school in South Carolina) the opportunity to compete for a scholarship in creative writing, dance, music, theatre, or visual arts as well as encourages and recognizes academic and artistic excellence among South Carolina students.
What does the program include? Students will mail or deliver original compositions, process folios, and other required documentation in one of the five arts disciplines (creative writing, dance, music, theatre, or visual arts) to the South Carolina Department of Education.
Deadline: Entries must be received at the SCDE by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 or postmarked on or before Monday, February 21, 2022.
Burger King Foundation Scholars
High school seniors, BURGER KING® employees, their dependent children, spouses, or domestic partners in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and Guam can apply to receive $1,000 to $50,000 scholarships for the 2021-2022 school year!
Eligible students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

Carolina Trust and HTC have partnered to offer scholarship awards to two graduating high school seniors within Horry, Georgetown, Marion, Williamsburg, or the southern part of Florence County. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to two rising college freshmen attending either Coastal Carolina University or Francis Marion University for their four-year degree. The scholarships may be renewed for three consecutive years in the amount of $500 per year should the award recipients continue to meet qualifying criteria. The total scholarship amount each student may receive over a four-year period is $2,500.

Opportunity Scholarship for Dreamers
We created our Opportunity Scholarship for undocumented students who live in states where they effectively have no access to college – either because they face paying out-of-state tuition or because their state will simply not admit them into its universities. We call these states locked-out states - South Carolina is one of those states.

Francis Marion University Darla Moore Scholarship
To be eligible to become a Darla Moore Scholar, students must be South Carolina residents, enrolling in full-time undergraduate studies, and demonstrate a financial need based on FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), with family income generally not exceeding $75,000. The scholarship is primarily, but not exclusively, geared toward students who will be the first in their family to attend college.

South Carolina Association of Counties - Board of Directors Scholarship
In May, the Board of Directors Scholarship Program will award $2,500 scholarships to four graduating high school seniors who are residents of counties chosen by lot by the Association. and counties were selected in the draw for 2022, and a scholarship will be awarded to a resident of each county. These are one-time awards.
Applicants must be planning to attend a South Carolina college/university or two-year technical college in the fall of 2022.
The scholarship recipient will be selected by a Scholarship Selection Committee. The scholarship will be awarded based on the accuracy and completeness of the application; the essay; grades; school activities; and community activities. The committee may also consider need as it relates to the receipt of other scholarship awards. The scholarship check will be sent directly to the school to which the recipient has been accepted.

Mae & Mary Legacy Foundation Scholarship

The Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program
The Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program awards more than $175,000 in assistance every year to college-bound students around the globe.
