    Good Evening Parent/Guardian,

    Carolina Forest High School will utilize eLearning to support our students during school closures. As a result, all Carolina Forest High School students will be provided 10 days of eLearning assignments for each of their on- campus courses.

    We are excited to have the opportunity to provide eLearning instruction while our school is closed due to the COVID-19. Our teachers have been busy preparing lessons in Google Classroom, which may also include various online programs, videos, and resources. Teachers will share information with your son/daughter via their student HCS Gmail. Students not participating in an eLearning day will be coded as absent. Absences that fall under the current policy as excused will be marked as excused.  All other absences will be considered unexcused unless the student completes the eLearning assignments

    HCS and CFHS strive to ensure all students have access to the resources and devices needed to be academically successful. As a result of school closures, we are committed to providing a Personalized Digital Learning (PDL) device to all CFHS students.  If your child has left his/her device at school or if you wish to pick up a device for your child  to use, you may come to CFHS during the hours listed below.  Each parent/guardian will need to present a driver’s license or another form of identification.  Otherwise, all HCS buildings will be closed to the public. Parents can pay a reduced technology fee of $12, which will provide limited coverage for any damage to the device while it is being used at home. Any parent/student who does not opt to pay the fee may be issued the device and will be allowed to take it home; however, parents will assume full responsibility for the device if it is damaged, lost, or stolen. At the time of pickup, the parent/guardian will be asked to sign a Parent Permission/Usage Agreement Form.

    Thursday, March 19th - 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
    Friday, March 20thth -  8:00 am – 11:00 am

    The CFHS administration, teachers, and staff are dedicated to providing the best instruction possible during this difficult time. Even though our school is not open, our thoughts are with our students and their families. We wish you all a safe and healthy time going forward.
