Hello. My name is Melody Larrimore!
I teach second grade at Myrtle Beach Primary. I have been teaching since 2008, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I spent my first two years at Ocean Bay Elementary teaching third grade, and ten years teaching first grade at Myrtle Beach Primary. Last year was my first year in second grade, and I absolutely love it! I have a beautiful 15-year-old daughter named Rainie, an awesome 6-year old daughter named Snow, and a wonderful husband named Philip. I have a BS in Early Childhood Education and a MS in Literacy from Coastal Carolina University. I also have a BS in Psychology and Business Administration. My goals for my students this year are to give them the academic, leadership, and social skills they need to progress to third grade, to provide a supportive and engaging classroom environment, to help them make new friends and discover new interests, and to help foster their love of reading and thirst for knowledge.
