New Student Registration at SJHS
If you have never attended a school in Horry County; or if you have previously attended HCS and now plan to return, new student registration begins June 8.
This year registration is being processed through our district office. Please send an email with your contact information to firstname.lastname@example.org and a district office staff member will contact you.
The following documentation will be required:
- A legal birth certificate
- Certificate of Immunization
- Proof of residency is required. Acceptable documents include current utility bills, a current and signed rental agreement, an approved transfer form, proof of guardianship, or a valid receipt and letter on property letterhead indicating the student is staying in a hotel or rental condo on a long-term basis.
Once you provide the above required items, we will proceed with requesting official records from your student’s previous school.
After the registration process is complete and we have received your student’s cumulative records from their previous school, we will contact you during the month of July to develop a schedule for 2020-21 school year. Please use the below link to access our Program of Studies to see what classes are available for the upcoming school year.
New student & Freshmen Orientation
Since we do not know the format of school for the upcoming school year we do not have any dates for schedule pickups yet. We will update you when we have this information.
