My name is Brian and I am originally from New Jersey. I graduated from Coastal Carolina in 2005. I absolutely love teaching physical education, it's a privilege that gives me the opportunity to invest in the lives of students and my community. I've taught in the public school setting for 8 years. I love spending time with my family and I'm passionate about surfing, fishing, hunting, and doing triathlons. My favorite quote is from the bible, it's Hebrews 12:1-2.

I am from OH-IO and an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. I left Ohio to join the Navy where I spent the next 10 years growing my family. I have four grown children and 5 amazing grandbabies. I have been a teacher for 14 years. My passions are dachshunds and crochet.

I was born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina and now live in Conway, South Carolina. I have been teaching art for 15 years and have loved every minute of it! One of my hobbies outside of creating and teaching art is plants. I am excited about new adventures in the world of art this year with my students!

My name is Tonya Propst and I am originally from Charleston, West Virginia. I have been a high school and middle school band director, a college music education professor, and now an elementary music teacher! When I am not teaching, I play french horn in the Long Bay Symphony and love hanging out with my husband, son and daughter. I am very excited to begin my second year at Ocean Bay Elementary!

My name is Amber Marshall and I am so excited to join the OBE team. My family and I just moved to Myrtle Beach from Greensboro, North Carolina where I have been a high school counselor for the past 8 years. My passion is dance and I am a licensed Zumba instructor. I am excited to get to know the students and families of OBE.

School Psychologist: Gabriella DeCenzo
I am originally from Maryland, but moved to Pawleys Island in 2002. I got my bachelors in psychology from CCU and my masters in school psychology from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is my third year as a school psychologist, but my first year in Horry County. In my spare time I like taking my dog, Charlie to the beach or visiting my parents for a homecooked dinner. I am really excited to be a part of the OBE family and see students when they come back.

I am very excited to be joining the OBE staff as a RBHS counselor and serving the students of OBE. I am returning to the Myrtle Beach area after moving back to my hometown of Union, SC for a few years. Looking forward to having my feet back in the sand!

My name is Sharon Walker, and I live in Pawleys Island, SC. I enjoy biking, riding my golf cart around the beach and traveling. I have been teaching for 35 years and the last 2 have been at OBE teaching ESOL students for grades K-5. I am excited about reconnecting with my students this year and seeing how much they have grown and changed since March and I am equally excited to meet and get to know our new ESOL students!
