Horry County Schools Honor Graduates

(GPA based on SC UGP)

Summa Cum Laude        GPA = > 4.75

Magna Cum Laude          GPA = or > 4.250 but < 4.75

Cum Laude                    GPA = > 3.75 but < 4.250

*Students will receive honor graduate recognition upon graduating from their base high school weight final GPA.

Seals of Distinction

What is a Seal of Distinction?

Students enrolled in South Carolina high schools have the opportunity to earn graduation Seals of Distinction within each high school diploma pathway that identifies a particular area of focus, beginning with the freshman class of 2018-19.
