Change of Information
It is the parent's/guardian's responsibility to make sure their student's information in the school district's PowerSchool system is updated and current throughout the school year. If a change in any information occurs once the school year has started, the parent has to complete the Change of Information form and submit it to the guidance department along with the required supporting documentation.
Student information will not be changed based on phone calls, hand written notes, or verbal information from the student. Only information received on the required form will be accepted.

Authorization to Reside - This form must be notarized and the original notarized form submitted with the proper proof of residency.

Withdrawing Your Student
To withdraw your student from SHS, you must complete a withdrawal form and submit it to the school prior to your student's last day of school. If this is not possible, you are to contact the guidance department for assistance.
All students are to return their laptops devices and chargers prior to or on their last day of school. Failure to do this will incur a replacement charge for the device on the student's financial account and/or a stolen goods report filed with the Horry County Police department if the device is not recovered by the end of the school year in which the student withdraws.
Students are also expected to clear all fines and fees still in an outstanding status with our bookkeeper and return any books to the media center.
