The public is invited to review textbooks and instructional materials that have been proposed for use in South Carolina’s public schools. The materials will be on display at eight locations from November 3–December 4 with instructions for submitting comments available at each site.
In addition to the display sites, digital access will be available for the recommended programs. On November 3rd the publisher-provided links will be posted online (2023 Virtual Public Review). The materials recommended by the Instructional Materials Review Panels will be submitted to the State Board of Education (SBE) for adoption on December 12, 2023. The SBE will receive public comments before a final decision is made on adopting the instructional materials.
