Two HCS Students Earn Perfect Scores on SC Ready

Every year, South Carolina students in grades 3 through 8 take the SC READY, which assesses students’ English Language Arts and Math skills. This year, though, something exceptional happened in Horry County: two of our students earned a perfect score on the test!

Eleanor Oestreich, a seventh grader at Ten Oaks Middle School, and Connor Norton, a seventh grader at Socastee Middle School, were two of only 20 students in the state to achieve this amazing feat on the Spring 2024 administration of SC READY.
