Foreign Language

Herzlich willkommen, bienvenido, and welcome to the foreign language department of Carolina Forest High School. We offer courses in Spanish and German, and our goal is to help the student acquire communication skills that can be applied within and beyond the school setting. We hope to bring awareness to cultures different from ours to promote tolerance and understanding in our world.

Foreign language requirements vary for each student depending on his/her plans after high school. Although only one foreign language unit (or one vocational unit) is required to satisfy the high school diploma, most 4-year colleges require 2 to 3 units in the same foreign language. Please keep this in mind when registering for classes.
