    Physical Education is vital to a child’s growth and development.  Our local recreation centers provide a variety of activities to assist in keeping your child active.  Team sports help to develop muscles and strengthen bones, as well as improve reflexes, attention span, focus, and thinking.  Your child will learn valuable life skills including leadership and cooperation.  This character building will last a lifetime. Winning and losing are outcomes of the game.  Through sports, your child will learn to deal with the joy of winning and the disappointment of losing.  But most importantly, they will experience the joy that comes from being part of a team and forming new friendships.
