1st Grade Teacher

Hello, My name is Kaitlyn Thompson!

I am so lucky to be doing what I love by being your child’s teacher!

I am originally from New York but have enjoyed living in Myrtle Beach since 2009. I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2013 and in 2016, I received my Masters of Learning and Teaching degree with a specialization in Literacy.  Additionally, in 2018 I earned my Early Childhood certification. I truly love working at Myrtle Beach Elementary and look forward to the many years to come!

In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, our daughter, Kennedy, and our dog, Marcie! We often travel to visit family and friends, and enjoy relaxing at the beach! I am grateful to be part of such an amazing community!
