It is great to be a Chief! This is my 27th year at North Myrtle Beach High School. I began my teaching career during the 1995 summer school session at NMBHS. In the fall of that year, I was hired as a full-time member of the math department. I continued to teach math at NMBHS from 1995 through the 2007-2008 school year. I pursued a new role as Curriculum Specialist at NMBHS in the fall of 2008 and continued to serve in that capacity until the 2012-2013 school year when I changed roles to become an assistant principal. This year is my fourth at NMBHS as principal.
North Myrtle Beach High School is a great place to work with wonderful students and staff. I enjoy working with young people and preparing them to reach their goals. I truly believe that the educational profession is a calling. It is a fulfilling profession in which you know that you are shaping and guiding the future. I am grateful that I get to fulfill my calling at NMBHS, and I am proud to be a CHIEF!
