    The One Hundred Book Club

    Grades K-2

    Do you think you can you read one hundred books in a school year?  Our goal is for each student in grades K-2 to read at least 100 books this school year.  Why?  Because the more we read, the better we read and the more we know. 

    How to Read One Hundred Books

    • Books read should include Fiction, Non-Fiction, and at least three different genres books by at least five different authors.  
    • “Reading” can include being read to by someone outside of school. 
    • Complete the reading log and submit it with a parent or teacher signature to the library. 

    You can earn privileges and great prizes as you work towards a one hundred books. Read 10 books and become a member.Logs are available below, online,  in the library and through your teacher.  Keep your eye on the display outside of the library for your name.

    10K Club


    Grades 3-5

     

    K is the abbreviation for thousand.  The 10K club challenges 3rd, 4th,  and 5th graders to  read 10,000 pages. Why?  Because the more we read, the better we read and the more we know. 

    How to Read 10,000 pages

    •  Books read should include Fiction, Non-Fiction, at least three different genres books by at least five different authors.  
    •  Flip to the back of the book to locate the number of pages in the book
    •  Complete the reading log and submit it with a parent or teacher signature to the library. 

    You can earn great prizes as you work towards 10,000 pages. Page counts carry from 3rd grade to 4th to 5th.  Read 1,000 pages and become a member.   Logs are available below, in the library, or online through your teacher.  Keep your eye on the display outside of the library for your name.
