National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) promotes strong values – honesty, responsibility, initiative, teamwork, leadership, citizenship, and scholarship. NTHS also helps schools build effective business partnerships and encourages students to reach higher levels of achievement. Benefits of membership include a custom certificate, ID card, letter of recommendations for the student’s career portfolio for employment, college admission, and scholarship committees. Students who meet the following criteria are invited to join during their sophomore, junior and/or senior year – a) cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher unweighted or a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher weighted; b) no referrals for the 12 months prior to induction and none during membership period; c) demonstrate leadership, good character, and community involvement with documented service hours; and d) be a member with a CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organizations). There is a one-time membership fee of $25 per student.
