A Message from the Media Specialist

Welcome to the SJM Learning Commons, a place to think, learn, create, and share!  

I look forward to working with your student this year.  I truly enjoy assisting students with reading suggestions, matching students with books, helping them locate books in the library, and expanding their research abilities to include reliable resources and databases.  Students are welcome to come to the learning commons to select reading materials, use a computer, complete homework, collaborate on group projects, or meet friends!

While ELA teachers may invite me into their classrooms to assist with research units, I want parents/guardians and students to know that I am available to help with questions you may have about books, series, and/or reading.  

I invite you to explore and learn more about the SJM Learning Commons in the related webpages.  Also, each fall and spring, SJM hosts Muffins for Mom and Doughnuts for Dads in the learning commons.  I hope you will be able to drop in and see the library for yourself.
