The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Horry County Schools for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2024.
HCS Communications won six awards from the SC Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association, recognizing the department’s high-quality work. Four of those were prestigious Golden Achievement Awards, one of which was declared the Best In Show for the year. They also won a Golden Achievement Award at the national level.
