Fine Arts Scholarships

Scholarships are available for students currently in grades 6-11 with demonstrated skills in Art who wish to pursue drawing, painting, ceramics, and digital arts.

• The visual art camp will be held at the Academy for Arts, Science, and Technology (AAST), June 5-8 & 12-15, 8:30-3:30.
• The portfolio review should include: Access to their online portfolio (if you have one), Sketchbook, and At least 5 works of completed art
• A rubric will be used for scoring your portfolio. Check here for details for the program.

Students currently in grades 3-11 who wish to pursue dance, are eligible to compete for scholarships in 2023, at Black Water Middle School. The HCS Summer Dance Program is held on the Black Water Middle School campus, 900 East Cox Ferry Road, Conway, SC summer of 2023. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the campus each day.

Students currently in grades 5-11 may apply for scholarships to attend 2023 Summer Theatre Program. The HCS Summer Theatre Program will be held at the Academy for Arts, Science, and Technology campus, 895 International Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC June 5-8 & 12-15, 8:30-3:30. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the campus each day.

Students currently in grades 7-11 who qualify and attend All-County Orchestra during the school year are eligible to compete for scholarships to attend the Charleston Southern University Summer Music Camp held on that campus on June 26-July 1, 2023. Here is information about the camp and here is the registration form. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the campus in Charleston, SC.

Students currently in grades 7-11 and ages 12-18 who qualify and attend All-County Orchestra during the school year are eligible to compete for scholarships to attend the Furman University Orchestra Camp held on that campus on June 11-16, 2023. Here is information about the camp and the application for registration. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the campus in Greenville, SC.

Students currently in grades 7-11 who qualify and attend All-County Band during the school year are eligible to compete for scholarships to attend the Charleston Southern University Summer Music Camp held on that campus on June 19-24, 2023. Here is information about the camp and here is the registration form. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the campus in Charleston, SC. 

Students currently in grades 7-11 and ages 12-18 who qualify and attend All-County Band during the school year are eligible to compete for scholarships to attend the Furman University Band Camp held on that campus on June 11-16, 2023. Here is information about the camp and the application for registration.
