This policy protects Horry County Schools from obligations for damages for injury or loss of property, personal injury, or death caused by a negligent or wrongful act of omission of an officer, employee, or officially recognized volunteer while acting within the scope of his/her office or employment.

This policy covers liability for accidents caused by an employee while operating a school district route bus in the course and scope of their employment or official duties.

This policy provides accidental medical expense benefits for all registered students of Horry County Schools, but is subject to specific covered activities as described in the policy.
