Esports Competition

Esports Competition: There will be an Esports competition during the technology fair. Elementary and middle school students may compete in Mario Kart and high school students may participate in Super Smash Brothers or Rocket League. School teams must register by April 4, 2025. For more information about team registration, please email Ashley Gasperson at agasperson@horrycountyschools.net.  There will be opportunities for individual students to sign up and participate in Esports events the day of the tech fair.

HCS Technology Fair Esports Competition Registration

Teachers, register your students for the HCS Technology Fair Esports Competition and let them showcase their gaming skills in a fun and competitive environment!

K-5 and 6-8 Students will compete in the MK8 Derby (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe), racing to victory with speed, strategy, and skill.

 9-12 Grade Students will compete in the Esports Competition, featuring:

                Rocket League – High-octane car soccer requiring teamwork and precision.
                   Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Intense 1v1 battles to determine the ultimate champion.
