MISSION STATEMENT

              Safety is our number one priority

The Office of Transportation Services is dedicated to providing safe and efficient transportation for all eligible students both to and from school and extracurricular activities each day. To accomplish our mission, a team of professional administrative specialists provides routing and upholds safety standards, while our committed drivers and supervisors deliver safe transportation services every day.

Together, our team shares one mission: to ensure the safe transportation of every student we serve.

The district’s transportation department supports all 58 schools by operating bus offices in each of the nine attendance areas, ensuring efficient and coordinated transportation services.

Fleet:

• 418 buses in service, covering 1,460 routes
• 366 state-owned routed buses
• 52 county-owned routed buses
• Plus, 56 county-owned activity buses

Mileage:

• More than 34,200 miles daily
• Over 6.1 million miles annually

Safety:

All buses are equipped with an AngelTrax or Seon camera system, providing high-definition video, audio, and GPS tracking to help ensure student safety.
