Saunda B. Carson Scholarship : DUE 4-1-22
The scholarship is for current high school seniors in the Horry and Georgetown county school districts, and the scholarship money is for college. To apply for this scholarship students will fill out a brief application and submit a short essay. The application is available at https://forms.gle/rjaz8MV8dqmduBs89
The essay should be on “Creating a Better Tomorrow” – what it would look like and how they plan to accomplish it. The minimum word count is 600 and it should be double spaced. The submission deadline for the scholarship is April 1st. Scholarships will be awarded on or before June 1st, 2022.

Big Future Scholarships of 2021-2022 High School Juniors
All juniors: Make yourself eligible for $500 and $40,000 scholarships each month. Earn entries in monthly drawings for scholarships by completing steps to plan for college. Future of STEM Scholars Initiative Scholarship : DUE 2-15-22
Scholarship Amount $10,000
FOSSI is a national program which seeks to increase the number of underrepresented professionals in the chemical industry workforce by providing scholarships to students pursuing preferred STEM degrees at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). FOSSI also connects scholars to leadership development, mentoring, and internship opportunities at sponsoring companies. The Future of STEM Scholars Initiative (FOSSI) is a $40,000 scholarship program for high school students who plan to study preferred STEM degrees (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

THE ARMY RESERVE MINUTEMAN SCHOLARSHIP for 2021-22 Juniors: DUE 8-1-22
4-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP for incoming college freshmen attending a host ROTC program or a public university at resident rates.
3-YEAR ADVANCE DESIGNEE SCHOLARSHIP (3AD): 4-year scholarship awarded to an incoming college freshman that pays the last 3 years of benefits provided the applicant successfully meets the requirements to contract after the first year.

Minimum high school GPA: 2.5 4Minimum test scores: SAT = 1000 or ACT = 19 4Enlisted or eligible to enlist 4Must be a U.S. citizen 4Eligible to participate in the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP), an experience with an Army Reserve unit while earning additional money for service 4Meet physical fitness requirements 4Between the ages of 17-30
