The George Rogers Foundation was founded in an effort to provide scholarships for first in family students in need of financial assistance. George Rogers developed the foundation as a means of giving back to both a school and a community that provided for him during his years at the University of South Carolina.

The Order Sons & Daughters of Italy in American (OSDIA), Myrtle Beach Chapter 2662, is pleased to announce our 2021 college scholarship opportunity. The $2,500 scholarship is open to students of Italian American descent (at least one Italian or Italian-American parent or grandparent) who attend a nationally accredited high school in Horry County, South Carolina, and will be awarded based on the student’s essay, academic achievement, and Recommendations.
The APPLICATION process opens on 1/25/2021 and concludes 5/15/2021. The award winner will be announced no later than 6/1/2021.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has established a scholarship foundation for local high school seniors who will be attending a qualified institution of higher learning as a full-time student in the 2020-2021 school year. We intend to award at least one scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 to a student in your school during this school year.
