Jump Rope for Heart
The 2nd leading cause of death in children is heart disease.
It takes heart to be a hero! Myrtle Beach Primary holds an annual Jump Rope for Heart Community Service Program through the American Heart Association because we've got HEART!
During our fundraiser period, we focus on heart healthiness by teaching the students how their heart works and how to take care of them through physical activity and nutrition. They also taught about some of the children who’ve been affected by cardiovascular disease and what they can do to help them. Our students participate in jumping activities in a festive atmosphere with their grade level classmates. In short, the students have fun and feel great for their efforts in helping other children.
By participating in JRFH, our students join millions of other children as they fight against
