Special Education Services

The Horry County Schools Department of Special Education provides a full continuum of special education programs, related services, and placement options to students ages three to twenty-one who are eligible for special education services.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality educational services to students with disabilities by implementing individualized, research and standards-based interventions, instruction, and assessments, as we prepare them to become productive, responsible, members of their communities.
